MCS Alumni

MCS has such a strong community and our alumni families continue to be an integral part of our school legacy. We want to stay in touch and continue to hear stories and happenings from our incredible alumni. We would love to hear from you with an update about yourself or your child.

Get Involved as an MCS Alumni

Anyone who graduated 8th grade from MCS is a member of the Alumni Association and may participate in all Alumni programs and events. Whether you are in high school, college or beyond, we would love to hear from you! It is our hope to provide wonderful opportunities for alumni to remain connected with their Mariners Christian School family and with each other.

We can’t wait to hear from YOU, our MCS Alumni Family.

The Alumni Heritage College Scholarship Program

The Alumni Heritage College Scholarship Program was established in 2003 by the faculty and staff of MCS with the intent of encouraging college-bound alumni in their educational pursuits. Each year, teachers, staff, and administrators have the opportunity to donate to this fund, which has resulted in 100% participation for the past three years!

One-hundred percent of the proceeds are transformed into college scholarships opportunities to graduates who best represent the mission of Mariners Christian School. Awardee(s) are determined by a committee that reviews applications and utilizes a detailed rubric for evaluation and selection. Awardees are notified by phone.

Since its founding, the Alumni Heritage College Scholarship has generated over $32,000 in Alumni college scholarship funding.

The Alumni Heritage Scholarship will re-open for submissions in 2026.

BE BRAVE: A Scholarship to Support Alumni Students with Disabilities

The Be Brave Scholarship was established in 2019 by our very own Student Support Specialist Crystal Willis and her husband Jeff.

“While student teaching for high school students, part of her class time was spent helping students apply for scholarships. As they looked for scholarships, Mrs. Willis noticed there were no scholarships available to students who struggle academically. God put a dream on her heart to one day create a scholarship available to students who have a disability and, despite their challenges, have been able to succeed and are stronger because of it in ways that don’t always show up on a report card. Her hope is that this scholarship will encourage and support students with disabilities who want to pursue higher education goals.”

The Be Brave Scholarship re-open in 2026 to all MCS Alumni who will be attending college, junior college, trade school, training programs, or internships for employment in the 2026-2027 school year.
